What Happens After Your Photoshoot?

Most people focus on the session itself.

What to wear..

What time to show up..

Whether it's going to feel awkward.. (<- I get it.)

But something I don't think gets talked about enough is what happens after your photoshoot.. This part matters a lot.

This is where YOUR photos really come to life.

Right After Your Session

One your session is over, that's when my work really starts.

I go through all of the images we took.. (trust me.. it's more than you think).. and being narrowing them down. I'm not looking for the "perfect pose". I'm looking for the moments that feel the most real.

The little expressions.

The natural smiles. (These are my fave!)

The in-between shots you didn't even realize were happening.

That's where the good stuff is.

The Editing Process

After I've selected the best images.. (there will be a lot).. I move into the editing process.

Every photo is edited individually. I don't just throw a preset over everything and call it done.

I focus on:

  • Keeping skin tones natural
  • Balancing light and color
  • Making sure everything feels consistent
  • Enhancing the image without overdoing it

My goal is always the same - for your photos to feel like you, just in the best light.

Turnaround Time

Editing takes time, and I don't rush it.

My standard turnaround time is about two weeks. That gives me the space to go through your images carefully and make sure everything I deliver feels polished and intentional.

I know waiting isn't always fun and you're eager to see the final result, but the wait is definitely worth it!

Your Gallery

Once everything is ready, you'll receive your online gallery.

This is where you'll be able to:

  • View your images
  • Download your photos (if included)
  • Share with friends and family
  • Order prints, wall art, albums, etc. if you'd like

It's simple, organized, and easy to use.

Seeing Your Photos for the First Time

This is my favorite part.

Getting to see your photos for the first time is something I never take lightly.

A lot of clients go into their session feeling nervous or unsure, and then they see their gallery and realize:

"That's actually me!"

That shift in confidence, even just a little, is what makes all of this worth it!

It's More Than Just a Session

Your photoshoot doesn't end when you leave.

There's a lot of care that goes into what happens after - from selecting your images to editing them and delivering your final gallery.

Because at the end of the day, this isn't just about taking photos...

It's about giving you something that lasts.

Thinking About Booking?

If you've been considering a session, now you know what to expect after the camera is put down.

If you're ready, I'd love to work with you.
