I think one of the biggest misconceptions about boudoir photography is that you have to be already confident before booking a session.

Like... you need to have everything figured out first..

You need to love your body.

You need to know how to pose.

You need to feel completely comfortable in your skin..

But in reality... Most women who book a boudoir session don't feel that way at all.

They're nervous.

They overthink everything.

They worry about feeling awkward in front of the camera.

They worry about how they look.

Ladies.. that is completely normal!

Confidence Usually Comes After

I've had so many women tell me beforehand:

"I could never do this."
"I'm not photogenic."
"I'm terrified."
"I'm too fat for boudoir photos."

And then somewhere during the session, something shifts.

Maybe it's the moment they realize they don't have to perform.

Maybe it's the laughter between poses.

Maybe it's finally seeing themselves in a different light.

But, it happens.. Every single session!

The confidence usually comes after you decide to the the scary thing..

Not before.

Boudoir Isn't About Perfection

You do not need:

  • a certain body type
  • a perfect tan
  • modeling experience
  • to lose weight first ← this is the biggest one!

You don't need to become a different version of yourself before you deserve beautiful photos.

Boudoir isn't about perfection.

It's about allowing yourself to exist in the frame without constantly picking yourself apart.

And yes, that's harder than people realize.

You're Allowed to Take Up Space

I think a lot of women spend so much time trying to make themselves smaller.

Smaller emotionally..

Smaller physically..

Smaller in the way they see themselves..

Boudoir pushes against that.

It allows you to take up space for a second. To be seen. To exist without apologizing for it.

And there's just something extremely powerful about that.

My Job Is to Guide You

You do not need to show up knowing exactly what to do.

Love, that is MY job.

I'll guide you through posing, movement, expression — all of it. Most of the women you see in boudoir photos were nervous too.

What matters most is not being "perfect".

It's just simply showing up!

The Best Part?

I'll be honest..

My favorite part isn't necessarily taking the photos.. even though that part is an absolutely fun moment!

My favorite part is when a client sees their gallery for the first time and realizes:

"That's me!"

Not someone else.

Just them — looking confident, soft, strong, beautiful, human.

That moment is the one that truly matters!

If You've Been Thinking About Booking

This is your reminder that you do not need to become more confident before booking a boudoir session.

You're allowed to do something for yourself exactly as you are right now.

And I promise, you are far more beautiful than you think you are!
